Eka Suwara Santhi was established in 2014 and is Singapore’s only Balinese dance group. It performs a variety of Balinese dances ranging from ancient compositions to more recent choreographies.
Eka Suwara Santhi also conducts dance and movement workshops from basic to advanced levels. This is in addition to lectures and talks on Balinese dance and its cultural and historical associations. For more details, see Event Details.
To date, Eka Suwara Santhi has performed at a variety of private and public events across a host of locations. The event settings include the Esplanade, the Asian Civilisations Museum, the National University of Singapore, the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, the Singapore Botanic Gardens, the Republic of Indonesia Embassy as well as at hotels, restaurants, business establishments, schools and private residences. Eka Suwara Santhi also actively participates in community events across the island.
